Look Me in the Eye by John Elder Robison
By David Rehem on November 7th, 2007
Robison is the elder brother of Augusten Burroughs author of Look Me in the Eye: My Life with Asperger’s. John Elder Robison is suffering from a disease called Asperger’s Disorder. He is genius as a tinker with cars and electrical engineer — one who designed flaming guitars for KISS and electronic games for Milton Bradley, and later he started a successful garage. Robinson can not see in the eyes, still he can fix broken amplifiers for rock groups, or restore Rolls Royce, like nothing. In an interview Burroughs says that his brother is a gifted storyteller whose tales are well worth hearing. There is a magic in his stories and people love to hear them.
